Pro V Academy Volleyball
The best training for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade volleyball players
WHY CHOSE PRO V ACADEMY?
We started Pro V because we thought volleyball for younger ages could be done better. We spent years watching 11, 12, 13 and 14 year old players in many different clubs. We would see dramatic differences in how skills and technique were taught from team to team. We both have daughters and did not want our daughters to be in a environment where their development would dramatically hinge on who their coach was. We wanted to create a system where practices where extremely organized and all players would be taught skills the same way - the right way.
What do we do differently?
- All teams practice together with a master coach planning each and every practice
- All players are taught the same technique and skills. Every team executes the same drills. This eliminates the individual coaches preference on skills and technique. No matter who your child has as a tournament coach, your child will be trained with correct technique from all coaches.
- We emphasize technique, skills, and repetition, over scrimmaging in practice. This is the same formula we use at Benet Academy High School, with great success.

Tournaments:
We play 2 weekends a month starting in January
Travel: All of tournaments are in the Chicagoland Area - There will be no required overnight stay in hotels.
- There is enough good competition in the Chicago area and no need to travel for good competition
- We feel players do not get recruited in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade - the majority of college coaches attend 16U and 17U matches.
- Not traveling saves families lots of money and time - Other clubs charge an additional $400-$600 per player for each weekend 2-day tournament. In addition, the parents at these other clubs will have to pay for the travel and hotel costs to watch their daughter play. If you are at another club, over one season, your family might pay an additional $2,000-$3,000.
